We specialize in combining native and hardy introduced plants, bringing the Nebraska Style landscape to your home.
Our landscape designers listen to your needs to customize your plan. We take great care to provide unique garden designs-as unique as our clients. We work with homeowners to plan new home construction, landscape renovations, perennial gardens, water features and patio enhancements. Finke Gardens also has extensive experience with acreages, commercial properties and public spaces like parks and schools.
Landscape Design - $150-$500
We work with homeowners to plan landscapes for new homes, landscape renovations, perennial gardens, water features, and patio enhancements. Finke Gardens also has extensive experience with acreages, commercial properties, and public spaces such as parks and schools. Actual design fees will be quoted following the first meeting and will be based on size and complexity of the project.

- At-home meeting to discuss your project
- Site measurement and basemap development
- Site analysis
- Conceptual design
- Plan presentation meeting at Finke Gardens when you will receive:
- A scaled copy of the plan for your records
- Plant information sheets
- $25 Finke Gardens coupon*
- One revision within 60 days of the plan presentation
- Estimate for installation by Finke Gardens
- A copy of plant and landscape care information emailed to you for the plants purchased
Design fees of $150-249 include a one-time design fee credit toward a single purchase of $750 or greater within six months of the design presentation.
Design fees of $250-$500 include a onetime design fee credit toward a single purchase of $1,500 or greater within one year of the design presentation.
Additional mileage fees may apply for residences outside 10 miles from Finke Gardens.

More Than Just Design
A healthy garden starts with healthy soil. Our experience has shown that completing soil preparation prior to planting is essential to long term success. Whether your soil is sand or claybased, adding organic matter will improve its texture and water movement patterns while adding nutrients. Soil amendment also improves aeration allowing roots of young plants to grow out more quickly into the surrounding soil.
From soil amendment and planting to mulching and watering, professional installation is a key step towards a healthy landscape. A careful and watchful eye can make all the difference in the long-term health of your landscape. Finke Gardens has over 25 years experience to ensure a professional and complete landscape installation.
A beautiful landscape is not only well-designed and properly installed, it also requires follow-up care. Landscape management is perhaps one of the most critical steps in producing a beautiful landscape, for without good management a great design can not result in a great landscape. As a living system, a landscape changes over time. Adaptation to those changes is needed for your landscape to remain functional and beautiful.
