As many plants are withering in the heat, this great combination is just beginning to shine. Plant Shogun Kalimeris for chartreuse variegated foliage that is vibrant all season before exploding with lavender blooms in August. Back dropped with Little Spire Russian Sage, this grouping continues blooming through early fall. Set the scene starting in June with Full Moon Coreopsis’ buttery yellow flowers, which highlight the bright variegation and complement the purple blooms of Shogun Kalimeris. In July, spikes of bright lavender flowers emerge from Kobold Blazing star. They are joined Kim’s Knee High Coneflower’s bold flowers. Distinct mounds of Saphire Oatgrass punctuate the scene and Helene Von Stein’s soft gray foliage finishes the combination.
